ARKTOS is a luxury classic traditional schooner motor sailer of 152 feet in overall length. She has two masts that support over 840m2 of sail, which can be used if the guest enjoys! She is fully equipped with all the modern day communication and navigation equipment including wireless internet connection all aboard the yacht, a state of the art sound system, with individual zone connection, as well as a surround system to support its 42" satellite TV, and a library of more than 700 movies and series. She accommodates up to eleven passengers in five cabins with en suite baths fully equipped with amenities. There are three double cabins, one twin cabin (which can convert to a Double bed, which also has Pullman berth). The Master suite is the full width of the yacht, and has a walk-in closet and a writing desk. All staterooms are equipped with flat screens with a movie directory,HDMI connection, individual Bluetooth speakers a safe and four cabins have mini-fridges. On the fore and aft of the yacht there is an area ideal for sunbathing, sightseeing or enjoying a relaxing meal where the guests will be able to experience a vast variety of Mediterranean cuisine from an assortment of locally sourced ingredients on the full length dining table (which accommodates up to 14 guests). Her gorgeous various woods and beautiful wood patterns on the walls and furniture create a unique organic luxury environment.

Captain Antonis, was born in Greece. He graduated as a captain in 1990 from the Higher Institute of Merchantile Marine whilst his high school was the Naval High School of Andros. He started his career working on board seagoing ships, cargo ships and tankers. After gaining valuable experiences throughout the globe Captain Antonis moved to the yachting industry. His first yacht was m/y "Ostria" then changed to large sailing yachts being the captain of "Odysseus", "Marina II", "Kallisto" and "Amadeus". For the last 7 years, Captain Antonis was the captain of "Aello" a unique 128ft guff scooner built-in 1921. Captain Antonis is a professional sailor. During his more than twelve-year experience as a Captain on Greek yachts, Captain Antonis performed various charter and owner trips among Greek seas. Therefore he masters all Greek island destinations as well as many little, unknown and unspoiled harbors. He speaks English and on top of his Captain degree and experience holds a lot of additional certificates like "Life-Saving and Fire Fighting Appliances", "Ro. Ro. Passenger", "A.R.P.A" and many more. Captain Antonis is married with one daughter and his hobbies are scuba diving and snorkeling.

Anstasios Ntavelos

Athanasios also is known as "Thanos" was born In Greece in 1987. He has a diploma in electrical engineering but his passion for cooking made him graduate from the culinary school in Greece. During the last five years, he has worked to many restaurants and hotels in the United Kingdom and enhance his skills in several cuisines.
He started as commis chef in Italian and Mediterranean kitchen and then he broadened his horizons in Japanese, Peruvian, Brazilian, Middle- Eastern, and Greek cuisine of course. All this experience makes him the perfect chef to be on board and to satisfy everyone’s taste buds. 

Yiannis Sarantou

Giannis was born in 1979 in Athens, Greece and has studied Marine engineering in Greece and has served for 12 years on board seagoing vessels. Giannis joined the "Arktos" in May 2013, when he took charge of the engine room. His mother tongue is Greek, he also speaks English and some Italian.

Konstantinos Kappos

Deck Hand
Konstantinos was born in 1988 in Athens, Greece and graduated from Special Forces in 2008. He started his career in 2009, in public ships as a steward and in 2011 he joined the yachting industry as a sailor. Konstantinos is a skipper, professional dive master with a big background and knowledge in engineering issues and troubleshooting. His drive and passion for traveling in different places and cultures make him an expert in Greek destinations, hidden magnificent bays and nice places to eat or have a drink. Konstantinos is fluent in English and speaks also Spanish.
